Being in my late 50s I had stopped wearing jeans - these have changed me forever. They are a soft denim with a little give in them and have been washed and worn multiple times! They are a little lower in the waist than I am used to - but they are just so comfortable!!
Good fit for those who aren’t a stick figure anymore.
Flattering shape. Comfy soft denim.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can you put jeans in the tumble dryer?

We advise that you do not put jeans in the tumble dryer. It’s damaging to the environment and to the denim; the heat from the dryer can weaken the elastane and may affect the shape of your jeans.

2. How often should you wash jeans?

You should wash jeans as little as possible. Trenery jeans are made from durable, stretch cotton that can withstand multiple wears. When it’s necessary, wash your jeans in the machine on a mild, cool setting (around 30°C), then hang dry.

3. Do jeans shrink in the wash?

If you follow the care instructions, your Trenery jeans should not shrink. Our fabric is pre-shrunk before making the jeans, so our customers can machine wash them without concern. Our denim is put through extensive shrink testing that goes beyond the 5 per cent industry standard – if the fabric shrinks more than 3 per cent, it doesn’t pass our stretch recovery standard.

4. Is it better to fold or hang jeans?

You can store jeans according to your personal preference. The durability and craftsmanship of our jeans means you can fold or hang them without losing the integrity of the denim.

5. What’s the difference between garment dyeing and yarn dyeing?

All our indigo-dyed denim is yarn-dyed, a careful process by which the yarns are dyed before weaving to create a more even, longer lasting colour. Our garment dyed boyfriend jean is dyed after construction – this technique gives the denim its washed-back appearance and a unique, lived-in look.

6. What is the perfect length for jeans?

It depends on a number of factors, but in general, ankle-length is the most flattering and can be worn with different shoe styles. The inseam for short women (160cm or less) is around 27 inches, while taller women (172cm and above) will find 32 inches or more gives the best coverage. If your straight-leg or boyfriend jeans are a touch too long, you can have them tailored or simply cuff the hem. Slim or skinny jeans can be shortened in seconds by neatly folding the hem under itself. This gives a neat look without spoiling the line of the leg.
